The A400 comes with a blade made of Sleipner steel which is one of the most premium and versatile steels on the market. One of the main advantages of Sleipner steel is its remarkable edge retention. This means that the knife stays sharp longer, even after extensive use. In addition, Sleipner steel offers good corrosion resistance and, despite its hardness, it is relatively easy to sharpen. The blade itself is designed in a drop point style with light recurve. This makes the knife very universal, whether you need to cut a rope, make a field lunch or skin a wild game. The blade is finished with a special brown DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. The coating gives the blade even more corrosion resistance, exceptional scratch resistance, and reduces friction for even easier slicing. The ergonomic handle of the A400 is made from 3D-machined G10 material and internally reinforced with steel liners throughout its length. The G10 is an excellent choice for a tactical or EDC knife thanks to its strength. Only in our special edition it comes in a beautiful coyote brown color to match the brown DLC on the blade. To keep your fingers safe, the A400 is equipped with the Alock - a custom ANV version of Cross-bar lock mechanism. The lock itself comes in black color as well as the rest of the hardware. The knife features a flipper for an easy and fast one-handed opening. The combination of the Alock and flipper makes this knife completely ambidextrous.
