The blade made of D2 steel has a fine longitudinal satin finish and the grooving on the top side of the blade offers not only a decorative element, but also serves as thumb support. It has ball bearings, opens with a front flipper typical of Japanese patterns, and is secured by a robust liner lock. The slightly shaped handle scales are made of fine cocobolo wood and sit on robust stainless steel liners.
