He is the author of numerous books and has been organizing nature trips for years. If anyone knows what a good knife should be like, it's Lars Fält. The blade is made from Alleima (formerly Sandvik) 14C28N – a very pure recycled Swedish stainless steel. The optimized chemistry results in a high-quality knife steel with a unique combination of excellent edge performance, high hardness and good corrosion resistance. The steel is also cryo-quenched, which improves wear resistance and allows the steel to reach its full potential. The knife is equipped with a robust Backlock mechanism that provides safe and reliable function, even during demanding use. The handle scales are made of paper composite consisting of FSC certified recycled paper material laminated in a petroleum-free resin that is also VOC free. The material has a matte finish and is weather-resistant and durable like micarta, but better for the health and the environment. A discreet, reversible deep-carry clip keeps the knife securely in your pocket
