The blade is made from 420 steel, while the handle scales are fashioned from natural wood. The bolsters are constructed from stainless steel and feature laser-engraved floral motifs. AISI 420 (American Iron and Steel Institute) martensitic stainless steel is rich in 0.15% carbon and contains a minimum of 12% chromium, providing excellent hardenability within 54-56 HRC, along with strength, ductility, machinability, and outstanding corrosion resistance. The high carbon content forms chromium carbide compounds, enhancing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, this steel is ideal for crafting cutting tools, knife blades, and medical instruments. The blade features a Clip Point design with a sleek satin finish.
