The first knife with Kinematic technology, it remains neatly hidden during transport and comes to life when problems arise. CRKT believes that designer Joe Caswell is a bit of a mad scientist. When they reviewed the blueprints for the Provoke EDC, they knew it was destined to become one of the most innovative designs the world of knives has ever seen. The blade, made of D2 tool steel, is designed based on the traditional karambit. The opening mechanism is triggered by thumb pressure on the upper hinge of the blade and initiates a chain reaction that causes the blade to spring into action while you firmly grip the handle. The handle is made of 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum for maximum durability. The pocket clip is designed in the style of the entire knife and is also activated by light thumb pressure.
