The Fred Perrin company has decided to completely remodel the iconic solid Bowie knife. The result is a reliable outdoor knife with a minimalist design ideal for modern times. The tang construction has been replaced by full tang to make the knife even stronger and capable of handling all the challenges of the wilderness. The compact version, Le Petit Bowie (literally "small bowie"), is ideal for those who travel light and a large knife would be a burden. The blade is made of stainless steel 440C with a stonewash surface treatment. The choil between the blade and the handle contributes to better control for detailed knife work. The steel base of the handle is complemented by G10 handle scales made of durable material. It has a rich 3D texture for an even better grip in demanding conditions. There is a lanyard hole at the end of the handle. The knife comes with a Kydex sheath.
