The LRA-01 (Large Rescue Axe) by Halfbreed Blades is a tactical axe engineered for extreme conditions, serving as an impact/MOE/Rescue tool. Tailored for military personnel and first responders needing a more compact axe, the LRA delivers powerful performance in the harshest environments. The main cutting head of the LRA-01 is razor-sharp, and the spike is expertly crafted for penetration. The LRA's pommel is perfect for hammering and features a large lanyard hole for attaching a carabineer or rope lanyard. The G10 handle is designed for versatile grip positions, accommodating both single and double-handed use. Anticipated uses for the LRA-01 include chopping, hammering, digging, cutting, serving as a climbing aid, breaking locks, shattering windows & windscreens, raking out frames, puncturing steel radial tires, smashing steel-clad doors, and breaching walls, including those made of brick. The LRA-01 is meticulously crafted from Austrian K110 (D2) tool steel, a material introduced by our sister brand Hardcore Hardware Australia to the impact tool category in 2010.
