The automatic pocket knife Heckler & Koch FD01 01HK502 is the ultimate tactical version of a switchblade knife. The Tanto-style blade, featuring a partially serrated edge, is crafted from black-coated tool steel D2. Its dependable mechanisms, including a side blade opening, coil spring, and button lock, have been tested and trusted in the Kalashnikov and Boker Plus series of switchblade knives for over a decade. For added safety, the lock is enhanced with a side-mounted Slide-lock. The handle is constructed from steel liners and fibre-reinforced nylon (FRN). This nylon showcases the distinctive moon and knob texture found on the handles of Heckler & Koch military and government firearms. The knife comes with a pocket and belt clip for tip-up (right) carry.
