The Utvaer blade has a full tang construction, which means it extends throughout the entire length of the handle. This increases the strength of both the blade and the whole knife. The holes in the handle can be used to attach a stick to the knife, turning it into a hunting spear. The blade is made of Swedish Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. It is a stainless steel type that is easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness well. The handles are made of curly birch. The handle is hand-ground, polished, and oiled to give it its unique character. The knife comes with a leather sheath.
