The blade is made of steel using the San Mai technique, which is often used by the Japanese manufacturer Higonokami. It opens with a Friction lever mechanism. The knife is not equipped with any safety lock; the blade in the open position is held only by pressure on the lever. The handle is made from a single piece of pink steel sheet with a water droplet surface finish. The handle is decorated on the side with Japanese character script.
