Tsubaki (Camellia Oleifera) Oil is a natural oil with omega-9 content, cold pressed from the seeds of the oil camellia. Camellia oil is traditionally popular in Japan for preserving delicate tools, swords, and cutlery. Camellia oil is generally considered a top choice for protecting high-end kitchen knives, swords, and carbon steel cookware. Camellia is preferred because it does not impart any taste to food while also suppressing moisture, creating an oxygen barrier, and preventing rust and stains.
