The Microtech Hera 702-1FRCHS is an OTF (out the front) knife inspired by the legendary Troodon automatic. It serves as a perfect bridge between everyday carry (EDC) and tactical models. This knife operates in Double Action mode and is crafted by Anthony Marfione, the renowned knifemaker and owner of Microtech Knives. The blade is a double-edge dagger style, crafted from stainless steel M390 with a Cerakote chocolate brown finish. A stepped thumb slide manages the robust dual-action mechanism, designed to require precise pressure for safe and controlled blade deployment. This opening method is ambidextrous, catering to both right and left-handed users. The handle is constructed from frag patterned anodized 6061-T6 aluminum in a rich chocolate brown hue. Its textured surface ensures a secure grip during use. The knife features a slim profile and a single-position pocket clip, milled from titanium, allowing for tip-down carry (blade tip down). The clip is equipped with a smooth rollerball, facilitating easy pocket insertion without causing wear to the pocket edges.
