The Microtech HERA II MINI 1702M-10APBL is a compact version of one of the best and most versatile OTF (Out The Front) automatic knives. Modeled on the iconic Troodon, it is an intermediate link between EDC and tactical models.  Designed by Anthony Marfione, knifemaker and owner of Microtech Knives. Double edge dagger type blade with plain edge and flat grind is made of Apocalyptic Bohler M390MK stainless steel, made only for Microtech. It is characterized by an extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance.The powerful Dual-Fuel Drive Train™ blade extension/retraction mechanism, operated by a knurled Thumb Slide, a stepped thumb slider, requires a certain amount of force to overcome the spring resistance for safety. The opening method ensures trouble-free opening for both right- and left-handed users. The handle is made with high precision in 3D technology on CNC milling machines, from blue anodized aluminum 6061-T6. The surface texture of the handle ensures that the knife does not slip in the hand during use. Slim profile and two-position (right/left) pocket clip milled from titanium, allowing the knife to be carried in a tip-down position. Equipped with a smooth rollerball, thanks to which the knife easily slides into a pocket without damaging the edges.
