The Microtech L.U.D.T. Gen III 1136-1NC (Large Underwater Demolition Team) takes its name from the Navy SEALs Underwater Demolition Team unit, or UDT for short. Ideal for everyday (EDC) carry and tactical tasks. Tanto type blade with plain edge and flat grind is made of two-toned (black coating + Satin) stainless steel M390MK, that was made as an exclusive version of M390 only for Microtech. A 24 silica carbide bearing system, the push-button automatic mechanism provides instant, reliable blade deployment with minimal effort. The whole thing is locked with the proven and popular Button lock. Handle is made with perfect precision in 3D technology on CNC milling machines, from natural clear 6061-T6 aluminum. Perfectly fitted inlays (inlay) of special 3M Traction Tape material with sandpaper texture make the knife does not slip in the hand during use.Ergonomic profile and a single-position (right) solid clip, allow the knife to be carried discreetly in the pocket, in tip-down position (blade tip down). The back features a lanyard hole, a place for a safety or decorative cord.
