The Microtech Scarab II® Gen III stands as the largest double-action out-the-front knife in the Microtech lineup. This knife draws its design inspiration from the iconic Microtech Ultratech. The double edge drop point blade is crafted from black coated stainless steel M390MK, a material made exclusively for Microtech. This steel offers outstanding edge retention, superior corrosion resistance, and enduring cutting performance. The X-Button thumb slide opener, featuring a double-spring mechanism, ensures smooth deployment and retraction. This opening method is designed for effortless use by both right and left-handed users. The handle is meticulously crafted using 3D technology on CNC milling machines from tan 6061-T6 aluminum. It features a perfectly fitted inlay made of 3M Traction Tape material, providing a sandpaper-like texture that ensures a non-slip grip during use. The handle is completed with a glass breaker, a robust steel triangle embedded with a tungsten carbide ball. Additionally, it includes a hole for threading a decorative lanyard. With its slim profile and milled deep-carry clip, which is reversible for right or left carry, the knife allows for discreet, tip-down pocket carry.
