Companion MG has a slender Scandinavian blade, hardened to 58 HRC, with a typical grind that ends in a very thin edge. The back of the blade is about 2 mm thick. The tip is subtle, slightly below the level of the blade's back. The knife, along with the plastic sheath, weighs approximately 100 g. The plastic handle has a molded lower guard. The handle is made of hard plastic, but is very ergonomic. Safety is increased by a fine texture and a guard that prevents fingers from slipping onto the edge.
