Cooperation between companies ONTARIO and RAT resulted in the production of several high-quality knives for the needs of police and military forces, but they will also find application among wilderness enthusiasts. One of them is the RAT-3 knife with excellent cutting properties. The RAT-3 knife has a blade made of 1095 carbon steel with a black powder coating. The combination edge includes teeth for better cutting of resistant materials such as ropes and straps. The full tang handle is supplemented with handles made of micarta, similarly to other RAT models. At the end, there is a hole for lacing a parachute cord. The knife is supplied with a black nylon sheath which can be attached to the MOLLE system or a belt.
