Grinding stone Wästikivi is made of phyllite and can be used for sharpening all Roselli knives, but it is slightly less effective for sharpening harder UHC steel. It is suitable for coarse grinding as well as final honing of blades. It is recommended to soak the stone before sharpening, which disperses friction heat and facilitates smooth grinding. The grinding stone comes with a case made of Finnish leather. It is handcrafted in the Finnish town of Harmoinene. The case is equipped with a D-ring, allowing easy attachment to a backpack or keys.
