The Warrior series offers affordable combat-ready swords. Although the blades do not have a mirror-polished surface, they are just as effective as their more luxurious versions. This long sword with a double-edged blade is definitely a unique addition to the collection of any enthusiast of Japanese cold weapons. The blade is made of heat-treated 1055 carbon steel. The attractive handle made of hard wood is tightly wrapped with black silk cord and features traditional Menuki and Same (Ray Skin) lining. The included black lacquered Saya (scabbard) is made of hard wood. The packaging also includes a fabric cover for carrying and storing the sword.
