Folding pocket knife Spyderco Manix 2 XL Salt Black C95GMCBKP2  is a larger, even more capable expression of our iconic Manix 2 design. Now this incredibly popular knife is available as a member of Spyderco’s groundbreaking Salt® Series—knives specifically crafted for use in and around the water. The broad, leaf-shaped blade is crafted from Crucible Industries’ CPM MagnaCut—a remarkable particle metallurgy steel that challenges conventional steelmaking wisdom to deliver an impressive synergy of toughness, edge retention, and extreme corrosion resistance. Optimized for tactical applications, the blade is cloaked in a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating to reduce its reflective signature. The blade is supported by high-strength Ball Bearing Lock™ mechanisms. The opening of the knife is quick thanks to thumb hole (Spyderhole). The handle is made of black G10, that is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. With its subtle texture, G10 feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip. Spyderco fitted this Salt version with a Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for an ultra-secure grip. This texture gives a lot of extra grip in wet conditions, or when wearing gloves while working. The knife is equipped with a sturdy metal clip (left/right) that allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position.
