This knife was created through collaboration between Spyderco and Bill Moran. It is produced in two different blade versions. One with an upswept Bowie-style blade /FB01P/, and the other with a drop-point shape /FB02P/. Both blades are smooth, made of VG-10 steel, and bear Bill's signature. They are beveled from the top edge to the bottom cutting edge, which increases their cutting performance. They taper towards the tip and conversely gain strength towards the handle. The knife fits excellently in the hand, preventing slippage, which increases safety during work. The handle is made of FRN material, with a non-slip Kraton insert on both sides. The knife is recommended for hunting, camping, and outdoor activities. Both versions come with plastic sheaths and a multi-position, G-Clip fastening system.
