Crafted by lionSTEEL® exclusively for Spyderco, the Slym™ enhances Michele Pensato’s renowned Skinny design with the convenience of our Trademark Round Hole in the blade. This sleek folder showcases a full-flat-ground, drop-point blade made from Böhler-Uddeholm’s M390 particle metallurgy stainless steel. Alongside its fully accessible Round Hole, the stonewash finished blade includes a removable flipper tab and operates on ball-bearing washers for exceptionally smooth action. The Slym’s distinctive handle is expertly machined from a single piece of titanium using lionSTEEL’s SOLID® technology. It features a robust gray physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating and a striking black-and-white Dark Matter Polar Fat Carbon Fiber inlay on the obverse side. The reverse side of the handle houses a reliable Reeve Integral Lock™ (R.I.L.) mechanism with a durable hardened steel interface. For quick access, the handle is equipped with a generously sized lanyard hole and a butt-mounted, deep-pocket clip that can be reversed for left or right-side carry.
