UVB radiation does not penetrate deeper layers of the skin, but can cause acute skin damage. UVB is the cause of burns, redness, but also premature aging of the skin and the appearance of wrinkles. UVA penetrates deeper layers of the skin and can cause the development of skin cancer. Exposure to the sun increases the production of melanin, so pigmentation (dark spots) can form on the skin.   TIP: To avoid skin damage caused by UV radiation, we recommend that you avoid sun exposure during the summer months between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., and if you go out in the sun, be sure to apply sunscreen to your facial skin. Facial skin is thinner and more sensitive and needs special care, and in order to protect it from radiation, we recommend a higher protection factor (SPF50).   You can also use the cream as a foundation under makeup. Apply it at least 15 minutes before sun exposure, after moisturizer, but before powder.
