Cold Steel has created the Dragonfly series as a more durable version of the Emperor models and has equipped it with thicker, wider, and heavier blades. To stay true to its name, the swords are adorned with intricate dragonfly motifs. The traditional Japanese katana sword is a very popular collectible item among both amateur enthusiasts and experts. The blade is made of high-carbon tempered steel 1055.
