The ESEE Model 3 is a fixed survival knife with a blade made of 1095 carbon steel. The extremely durable powder coating of the blade protects it from the increased sensitivity of carbon steel to corrosion. The excellent utility properties of the steel guarantee a lifelong joy. The full tang blade is enhanced with a micarta handle. The handle is slightly rough to the touch, which is great for grip and comfort. The ESEE 3 knife has reasonably modest dimensions, so it won't look too "threatening." Thanks to these dimensions, it can be easily used as an EDC knife. This version with a modified handle has a slightly different pommel (end of the handle). It is rounded, unlike the usual pointed pommel. The handle is enhanced with a curve for the index finger. This knife fits so wonderfully in the hand that you might wonder why other knives sometimes need a whole range of curves. One of these curves is also found at the base of the blade. By placing your index finger in this curve, you can rest your thumb on the blade. The ridges on the top side are in the right place for your thumb.
