The knife features a Drop Point blade with a plain edge and flat grind, crafted from desert tan powder-coated carbon steel 1095. Its full-tang construction ensures the blade extends through the entire knife, providing durability and strength.While 1095 carbon steel is renowned for its toughness, it is not highly resistant to corrosion. It can discolor quickly when exposed to moisture, salt, or acid. To maintain its condition, clean the knife after use and occasionally apply a drop of oil. Over time, a patina will develop on the 1095 steel, enhancing its resistance to corrosion. The handle is constructed from desert tan Micarta, a composite material made from linen and synthetic resin. Upon close inspection, you might notice a subtle texture that can resemble wood. This material is not only strong and stable but also offers excellent grip. The handle is finished with a modified pommel. The knife is accompanied by an OD green molded sheath with a MOLLE back, providing versatile carrying options.
