DRY FILM™ starts as a liquid but quickly evaporates, leaving a completely dry fluorinated layer behind. This Dry Film contains no liquid or waxy substances that could attract dust or lint. Its low surface energy actively prevents particles from clinging to metal surfaces, reducing the likelihood of them sticking to your knife components. This non-toxic, dirt-repelling, sub-micron dry film lubricant uses ultra-concentrated pure fluorinated lubricant, offering a smoother experience without the unpleasant odor found in other products. It incorporates fast-evaporating, high-molecular weight liquids with extremely low viscosities. These properties allow the suspension to flow in an ultra-thin laminar boundary layer, effectively removing even the tiniest contaminants from knife surfaces. Within seconds, the liquids evaporate, leaving a pure fluorinated dry film with particles no larger than 0.5μm, even on microscopic surface textures.
