Microtech L.U.D.T.® T/E Gen III Red Standard 1136-1RD

The Microtech L.U.D.T. Gen III 1136-1RD (Large Underwater Demolition Team) is a contemporary take on Microtech's inaugural knife, the UDT. This series represents a modern evolution of Microtech's original design, making it perfect for everyday carry (EDC) and tactical applications. The Tanto-style blade with a plain edge is crafted from black-coated stainless steel M390MK, an exclusive variant of M390 developed specifically for Microtech. Equipped with a 24 silica carbide bearing system, the push-button automatic mechanism ensures swift and dependable blade deployment with minimal effort. The blade is securely held in place by the trusted and popular button lock. The handle is meticulously crafted using 3D technology on CNC milling machines, from 6061-T6 aluminum in a striking red color. Precisely fitted inlays of special 3M Traction Tape material with a sandpaper-like texture ensure a firm grip during use. Its ergonomic design and single-position (right) solid clip allow for discreet pocket carry in a tip-down position (blade tip down). The back of the handle features a lanyard hole, providing a spot for a safety or decorative cord.
