The Microtech Scarab II® Gen III stands as the largest double-action out-the-front knife in the Microtech lineup. This knife draws inspiration from the original Microtech Ultratech design. The double edge drop point blade is crafted from black coated stainless steel M390MK, made exclusively for Microtech. It offers excellent edge retention, high corrosion resistance, and long-lasting cutting performance. The X-Button thumb slide opener with double-spring deployment/retraction ensures seamless opening for both right and left-handed users. The handle is precisely crafted using 3D technology on CNC milling machines from red 6061-T6 aluminum coated with Mil-Spec. The perfectly fitted inlay is made of 3M Traction Tape material with a sandpaper texture, ensuring a non-slip grip during use. The handle is finished with a glass breaker, featuring a solid steel triangle with a tungsten carbide ball pressed into it. It also includes a hole for threading a decorative line. The slim profile and milled two-position (right/left) solid deep carry clip allow for discreet pocket carry in a tip-down (blade tip down) position.
