Spyderco C223GPS Para 3 G-10 Black Spyderco - Para 3 is the latest generation of the well-known Paramilitary folding knife family. Its history dates back to 2004, when the first series of Paramilitary knives was created. Based on this, the Para 3 faithfully preserves all the characteristic features of its predecessor, the best-selling Paramilitary 2, but in a smaller, more compact package. Although the Para 3 is clearly based on the Paramilitary 2, it was not named "Paramilitary 3" because the number "3" actually reflects the length of the blade, three inches, rather than it being the third generation of parametric design. This knife has its own "identity" as a standalone Spyderco product. It is made from various steels, as well as having a variety of handle color variations. The blade is made of CPM-S30V steel, partially serrated. It is cut from the spine edge, which gives it exceptional cutting properties. The open blade is secured by a sturdy Compression Lock, located on the back of the handle, allowing for convenient one-handed opening and closing. The handle is black in color, made of G-10 material, and for greater strength and durability, it is reinforced with stainless steel liners. The pocket clip is four-position, meaning it can be moved according to needs. The solid hole in the handle allows the use of a lanyard.
