M311 SPELTER was developed in cooperation with members of forward air control units, Close Protection teams, and special aviation operations. The knife has been extensively tested in extreme environments and various climatic conditions, from hot, dry, or humid parts of Asia to freezing areas beyond the Arctic Circle. The blade is made of durable Swedish steel Elmax. This top-quality steel runs through the entire construction of the knife, all the way to the base of the handle, which is equipped with a glass-breaking tip. The blade is treated with an extremely resistant DLC (Diamond-like Carbon) coating, which minimizes reflections and, above all, prevents corrosion. The shaped handle with a 3D texture is made of Micarta material, ensuring an excellent grip. Comfortable, reliable, and safe carrying of the knife is ensured by a kydex sheath, which has holes for attaching the blade-tech system, allowing for carrying both on tactical molle webbing and pals.
