The Modified Wharncliffe blade with a plain edge is crafted from Satin finished tool steel D2, known for its superior corrosion resistance compared to most high-carbon steels. This steel offers a combination of strength, excellent edge retention, and ease of sharpening. A ceramic ball bearing ensures the blade opens smoothly, utilizing a thumb hole for easy access. The blade is securely locked in place with a robust Button lock. The handle is constructed from jade-colored G10, a composite material made from glass fiber and synthetic resin.
