The American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley captures the essence of Japanese Kihon with the design of the Boker Plus Kihon DC folding knife. The term Kihon traditionally refers to the fundamental principles and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley has translated into a practical and robust everyday knife. The satin-finished drop-point blade crafted from D2 steel opens effortlessly with the aid of ball bearings via the detachable thumb stud, while the crossbar lock ensures intuitive, secure, and convenient unlocking of the knife.
