The Polish custom knifemaker, David Hás, guided the Boker Plus Pollywog through its entire transformation, from initial concept to its debut in the EDC realm. Inspired by the wonders of nature, the designer from Cronos Knives has meticulously crafted the shape and structure of this fixed blade knife to mirror the tadpole it’s named after. The drop-point blade with a satin finish evokes the image of a rowing tail, skillfully navigating the Neck Knife through daily tasks, thanks to the exceptional qualities of the blade steel. Nitro-V is particularly noted for its high edge-retention and resistance to corrosion, making even minor cutting tasks in the outdoors effortless. Additionally, jimpings on the thumb rest and the robust full tang design provide maximum precision and control. The contoured G10 handle scales continue this theme, offering enhanced comfort with ergonomic finger recesses. A hollow rivet at the handle's end, reminiscent of a tadpole's eyes, serves as a lanyard hole. A custom-fit Kydex sheath with a ball chain and a lanyard are included for (stylish) secure transport.
