URD XL is a fixed blade knife designed by Midgards Messer. It is a large worker in a compact package. The robust chisel-shaped blade can handle rough handling, but also makes a great substitute for santoku knives when preparing meals in the camp. The full tang construction blade is made of D2 tool steel. The blade measures only 7.5 cm and has a wide cutting surface that concentrates a lot of force in a small area. The shaped handle widens backwards to prevent slipping. It is made of durable material G1. URD XL comes with a kydex sheath and a ball chain, allowing you to wear it as a neck knife despite its robust profile.
