The Cold Steel company has been considering the production of a folding knife similar to their famous Tanto knife for years. Andrew Demko and Lynn Thompson together found a satisfactory solution. The result is the Oyabun model! The blade made of stainless steel 4116 opens with a flipper and is held in the open position by a liner lock safety supplemented with a secondary locking mechanism. The handle with a stainless steel construction is complemented by Griv-Ex material inserts. Additionally, it is coated with a textured layer of Kray-Ex. The knife has a lanyard hole at the end of the handle and is equipped with a pocket clip for carrying.
