Fire Brigade Axe is designed specifically for firefighter units in Italy. The design is based on service axes used in the past century. The main focus in the development of the tool was on reliability, strength, maintaining a relatively low overall weight, and ease of use. The axe head is made of carbon steel C70 with a hardness of 50-52 HRC. It has a classic blade on one side and on the other side, the head extends into a long sharp point with a slight curve. Steel straps extend from the sides of the head, reinforcing the handle's durability. The handle is made of lacquered ash wood. The axe comes with a leather sheath with a fastening for safe transport of the axe.
