The name is a nod to the designers' favorite dining spot: the Farley Bar in Sausalito, California, close to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. The Farley's design draws inspiration from the concept cars of the 1960s. When you place the knife alongside an image of one of these classic cars, the resemblances are striking: the sleek, aerodynamic contours, the smooth ergonomic forms, and even the screws, reminiscent of hubcap placements. The Drop Point blade is crafted from Stonewashed ELMAX steel. Known for its toughness, ease of sharpening, and excellent edge retention, ELMAX is a superior choice for knife steel. The knife is designed for two-handed opening, facilitated by a nail nick that provides extra grip with your fingernail.
