The Kershaw Livewire K-9000DE is Kershaw's inaugural double-action OTF (out-the-front) automatic knife. Crafted in the USA, this knife is a collaboration between Kershaw and Matt Diskin, designed for tactical applications. The blade is made from premium CPM MagnaCut powdered metallurgy steel, known for its superior edge retention, durability, and resistance to corrosion. It features a black PVD coating for additional blade protection and has a double-edged dagger-style blade. The knife is equipped with an easy-to-use thumb slide for automatic blade deployment and retraction, and it includes an OTF internal lock mechanism. The handle is made from uniquely black anodized aluminum, providing a comfortable grip. The deep-carry pocket clip is easily reversible for both left and right-handed users.
