The folding knife Mcusta MC-192C is inspired by the traditional Japanese Higonokami knife (肥後守) with its typical Chikiri ("thumb lever"), which can be used to open the blade and prevent it from accidentally closing during use. The passion for craftsmanship and innovative designs of Mcusta have resulted in this stylish and practical tool, which has become a modern icon of the traditional Japanese Higonokami knife for the 21st century. The blade has a VG-10 core, and the wavy line between two types of steel intentionally imitates the famous Hamon of traditional Katana swords. It opens with a lever on the back of the blade and holds the blade in the open position only by the pressure on the lever. The handle is made of layered lacquered wood.
