Mcusta MC-193C Friction Folder is a stylish "gentleman's knife". It opens easily with a front flipper and the discreet slipjoint keeps the blade open. The blade is made from a core of hard VG10 steel, laminated between two layers of soft steel. This gives you the benefits of the core's hardness combined with the flexibility of laminated steel. Mcusta used pakka wood for the handle. It is a laminate of thin layers of wood, impregnated with a strong synthetic resin. As such, it is very strong and stable. An ideal knife handle. Some layers have a different color, making the whole thing look even better. This Mcusta knife comes in a traditional Japanese sheath. Its weaving is truly stunning.
