The numbered edition of the REPETITOR knife is a reminder of the participation of Czech soldiers in missions UNPROFOR, UNCRO, IFOR, and SFOR in the Balkans since 1992. The REPETITOR knife bears the name of the checkpoint T 23 - Repetitor, where in 1995 two Czech soldiers died - Luděk Zeman and Petr Valeš. The War Veteran project is a joint activity of the company Mikov and the Military Solidarity Fund. Its goal is to connect the memory of soldiers' heroism with specific assistance to those in need. Designer Roman Hippík was inspired by a cold weapon that has been in the arsenal of the Czech army for several decades and is linked to its history. In this case, it is a bayonet for the vz. 58 submachine gun, which almost every member of the Czech or Slovak army has encountered, whether as conscripts or professional soldiers. The full tang construction knife has a blade made of high-quality Bohler N690 steel with a ceracote cobalt surface finish. In addition to the lower edge, the blade also has an upper false edge and grooves on the sides as a strengthening and lightening element. The handle is made of durable micarta with a color reminiscent of the original stock of the vz. 58 submachine gun. For better handling, the knife is equipped with a one-sided guard and a roughening on the back of the blade for thumb support. The rounded end of the knife is equipped with a lanyard hole. The knife comes with a very lightweight and foldable sheath made of cordura with a plastic insert that holds the knife in the sheath. The knife handle is fixed to the belt loop with two fastening straps with buckles. The sheath can be attached to the belt in several ways and is also compatible with molle attachment. On the front of the sheath, the coat of arms used on all Czechoslovak army equipment during the Balkan missions is depicted. Each package includes an original sheath for the Repetitor knife, a certificate of a contribution of 300 CZK to the Military Solidarity Fund, an information brochure on Operation Desert Storm and the Repetitor knives, paracord, and a sticker. Each knife is engraved with a laser mark of the designer, manufacturer, serial number, and year of production.
