Muela uses various types of steel for the blade production, such as 12C27 Sandvik, 14C28N, MOVA 60 molybdenum-vanadium steel with a hardness of 57-61 HRC, Inox 1-42 steel with a hardness of 54-58 HRC, and blades marked 440 are made from Mova-60E steel. Muela Damascus knives are the result of combining two steels, RWL34 and MPC27, which have a hardness of 57-62 HRC. Muela knife handles are adorned with quality materials, including horn and various types of wood: olive, Africa Blackwood, Kingwood, Cocobolo, Amazonas Rosewood, and walnut wood. The Muela SCORPION-18NM tactical knife has a black blade made of stainless steel 440 and has partial serration. The brown rubberized handle has a lanyard hole at the end.
