Ontario Knife Company is one of the few remaining American bayonet manufacturers and the sole supplier of the OKC3S combat knife. The M7B bayonet falls between the M9 and the famous M7 models, along with other military models such as the Ontario tactical knives, the ASEK survival knife from the Air Warrior program, the Freedom Fighter model, the iconic OKC kukri, and the Navy-issued Mark III - all of which belong to the legacy of Ontario bayonets and knives. The blade is made from durable 1080 carbon steel with a corrosion-resistant black coating. The handle is made from sturdy Kraton material. The barrel-mounted guard is made from carbon steel and features a hole for the M4 rifle. At the end of the handle are spring-loaded jaws that secure the bayonet onto the front sight post. The knife comes with a molded plastic sheath. It is equipped with a nylon belt loop and a cord for thigh attachment.
