The folding pocket knife Real Steel Evolution Ironclad RE-7911SB is an EDC and tactical version of the Evolution knife, crafted by Carson Huang. The Drop Point blade features a plain edge and flat grind, crafted from Stonewashed tool steel D2. This material has been a staple for cutting tools since World War II due to its toughness, ease of sharpening, and excellent edge retention. However, be cautious around moisture and acids, as D2 is not fully stainless. The blade can be deployed using dual thumb-studs, and once open, the robust Framelock mechanism ensures the blade remains securely in place, preventing accidental closure. The handle's front side is constructed from black G10, a composite material made of glass fiber and synthetic resin. G10 provides a comfortable grip with its subtle texture. The back side of the handle is made of steel and includes a right-hand carry pocket clip for convenience.
