After exploring numerous variations, it was time to elevate the design into something fresh - thus, the Luna Maius (bigger/stronger) came to life. From the outset, we determined that due to its larger dimensions, it needed to be a locking folder. It boasts the reliable and robust backlock mechanism. We carried over some of the finest features from the original Luna, including a full flat grind blade with a fuller that accommodates the optional thumb stud installation. This addition enhances the knife's legality in various regions worldwide. The handle, meticulously milled from solid titanium, is 3D contoured to comfortably fit the palm and showcases a similarly intricate and stunning 3D milled pocket clip. Moreover, the combination of anodizing and stonewashing imparts a vintage aesthetic to the handle while providing an excellent feel and texture. The pocket clip mounting screws are discreetly hidden, maintaining the sleek appearance characteristic of the original Luna design. In other areas, oversized screws are employed to emphasize the Maius's robust character. Despite its increased size, the Luna Maius remains an excellent choice for an elegant EDC, as it stays compact and slim, offering users a bit more blade length and additional exquisite details to appreciate during a leisurely moment.
