Dual Grit Diamond Sharpener with Leather Strop Sharpal 181N Buddyguard is excellent for sharpening the hardest steel blades (especially for hunting, tactical, or everyday knives). With a monocrystalline diamond-coated surface, it is nickel-plated on a stainless steel base. The handle is made of stainless steel wrapped in 2 meters of orange paracord. It is double-sided - with coarse and extremely fine diamond surfaces. The coarse side with 325 grit (45 microns) can be used for quickly restoring dull or damaged edges. The extra fine side with 1200 grit (9 microns) is for traditional sharpening. No oil is necessary. The leather case can be used as a strop, i.e., for polishing the edges of the blade.
