Spyderco Endela was created at the request of many fans for Spyderco to design a knife slightly larger than the Delica and slightly smaller than the Endura. This resulted in a folding knife compact enough for everyday carry, yet capable of handling more demanding tasks. Even the name Endela is a combination of the names of both knives. The blade made of premium VG-10 steel opens with the typical Spyderco hole or Emerson hook, which opens the knife as it is pulled out of the pocket. In the open position, the blade is secured by a backlock mechanism. The handle is made of durable FRN material - fiber-reinforced nylon, which is lightweight and incredibly strong. The knife is equipped with a pocket clip for carrying.
