The Manbug® is a surprisingly compact back lock folding knife that easily attaches to a keychain while delivering the cutting power of a much larger blade. This particular version highlights a blade made from CPM® SPY27®, an advanced powder metallurgy steel that enhances the cobalt-rich composition of VG-10 stainless steel with niobium, nitrogen, and increased levels of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium. Created in collaboration with Crucible Industries® and exclusive to Spyderco, CPM SPY27 provides an outstanding combination of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. Maximizing these attributes, the knife’s satin-finished, full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade is matched with a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle, injection molded in a striking cobalt blue—one of the hallmark handle colors of Spyderco’s premium SPY27 series.
