This Wüsthof Gourmet 16 cm kitchen knife is ideal for cutting meat, vegetables, and fruit. Compared to a large chef's knife, this kitchen knife has a narrower and shorter blade. As such, the knife is slightly more compact and flexible when used. The blade is made from a single piece of chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel and hardened up to 56 Rockwell. As a result, the blade retains its sharpness longer compared to other brands in the same price range. The polypropylene handle is attached to the blade with rivets. The ergonomic shape comfortably fits in the hand, allowing you to continue working without straining your hands. The knives are NSF certified and can therefore be used in a professional kitchen. Although these kitchen knives are dishwasher safe, we recommend cleaning them by hand.
